MARCH MUSIC CALENDAR
Saba headlines The Bucket List Tour w/ Sylvan Lacue & Caleborate
When: Tuesday, March 7th
Venue: Social Hall SF (San Francisco, CA)
Hailing from Chi-Town, Saba introduces his initiatives with his 2016 album release, Bucket List Project. Though this is his first headlining tour, this wouldn’t be Saba’s first time performing for the bay area crowd. He was one of 4 headliners for West Oakland’s Free Spirit Fest 3 put on by the homie Beejus. Saba is continuing an ascension in a long line of game changing Chicago artists. He has collaboration songs with fellow Chicago natives Chance The Rapper & Noname, as well as Chicago-based artist Smino, and many more from all over. Saba’s growing process is dope-ly highlighted in his latest project as living proof that he is chasing his dreams.
If you haven’t already, listen to the Bucket List Project and get inspired to chase your dreams.
Sylvan LaCue has been vividly coming into his own ending out 2016 by headlining The Loner Tour with its last show taking place in Oakland. His headlining tour was featured in 8 cities that included supporting performances from Khary & Oakland’s Elujay. LaCue has released several singles to follow up his 2016 project drop, Far From Familiar. The Miami native continues to bring his conscious yet rapid style of expression forward with his Wise Up collective.
Listen to his 2 latest singles:
Caleborate was originally booked as an opener for this show date but his twitter and instagram say otherwise due to personal reasons. We all wish Caleb the best and cannot wait for his upcoming releases.
In the meantime, peep his game on soundcloud:
UPDATE: Joseph Chilliams has been added to the Bucket List Tour in place of Caleborate.

Isaiah Rashad headlines The Lil Sunny Tour w/ Jay IDK & Lance Skiiwalker
When: Friday March 10th
Venue: The New Parish (Oakland, CA)
Isaiah Rashad has captivated the hip-hop world in awe as his album, The Sun’s Tirade, showed Rashad as an artist in transition. Coming from a long hiatus after his initial album release, Cilvia Demo, the TDE rapper is a must-see performer after nearly falling off the TDE map. His resilient bounce back has been a long time coming and all of his fans in the bay area are counting the days til he blesses us with his presence. Demand for his concert was so high, they added a midnight show right after the first one. I know right, crazy! And unfortunately, both shows are sold out.
Jay IDK from Maryland & TDE’s Lance Skiiwalker will be accompanying him on tour.
So until March 10th comes, enjoy his music video for “4r Da Squaw” below.
Hieroglyphics throw a 420 party!
When: Saturday, March 25th
Venue: Private Venue
This will be a very lit occasion. The Hieroglyphics crew will be in the building for a meet-n-greet, a live performance, and a documentary screening. Oh yeah! There’s also going to be hella medical cannabis offered for sample, sale, & consumption. What can be better!? The last concert in the bay that I could remember that required a medical recommendation was last year’s 420 party at Brick & Mortar in San Francisco featuring the bay’s very own Larry June & Equipto. So if you like marijuana and you like classic bay area hip-hop, you need to be in the building for this one!
